RBI Keeps Repo Rate Unchanged at 6.0% in April 2026 MPC Meeting
The Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) voted to keep the repo rate unchanged at 6.0% in its April 2026 meeting. The RBI Governor stated that the decision aims to balance inflation control with economic growth. Retail inflation (CPI) stands at 4.2%, within the RBI's target range of 2-6%.
